    The effectiveness of the TIGER BERLEY (CHUM) TRAIL INDICATOR is greatly reduced during a "dodge" tide because there is little or no water movement during a dodge tide in SA. Not all states experience "dodge" tides.
  12. IS THE TIGER BERLEY (CHUM) TRAIL INDICATOR SUITABLE FOR ALL TYPES OF FISHING?
    The TIGER BERLEY (CHUM) TRAIL INDICATOR was designed primarily for inshore, estuary and lake fishing. For off-shore or deep water fishing the TIGER BERLEY (CHUM) TRAIL INDICATOR will give surface current direction.
  13. WILL THE TIGER BERLEY (CHUM) TRAIL INDICATOR WORK IF THE BERLEY IS SCATTERED BY HAND, IN LIEU OF A POT?
    Yes, the TIGER BERLEY (CHUM) TRAIL INDICATOR will indicate the direction of the berley (chum) flow.
  14. WILL THE TIGER BERLEY (CHUM) TRAIL INDICATOR INDICATE THE STRENGTH OF THE CURRENT?
    Yes, as the current flow increases, the vane will pull harder away from the boat and rise nearer the water surface.
  15. DOES THE TIDE RUN THE SAME IN ALL LOCATIONS?
    No. The bottom and shore conditions have a major impact on tidal flow and direction.
